ABS – Accounts

ABS provides all the information required for invoicing. It can transfer the invoice data electronically to your accounts system or print the invoices directly for sending to your customers.

ABS contains a credit control system which can:

• prevent orders being taken for bad debt customers, except with authorisation or pre-payment
• automatically refer orders for certain customers to credit control
• notify credit control of orders from new customers for credit-checking; the ABS can directly email a trade credit application to such customers

ABS also provides other controls over the selling & invoicing process:

• tracks customer confirmation of orders, to minimise payment disputes
• cross-comparison of the bookings and the printed publication, to ensure all ads are invoiced
• sign-off by sales/production staff to confirm exactly what is to be invoiced

ABS can provide reports of commission payable to third-party agents who sell advertising on your behalf.
