ABS Tracking bookings
An Order may contain any number of bookings - print ads, inserts,
internet ads or other items. You can mix different types of bookings for
different publications in the same Order.
Each print ad:
- is booked into a particular section of an issue
- has its guarantees (size, colour, position etc) and copy instructions recorded
- has its rate card price automatically calculated and compared to the selling price
- is checked for double-bookings of key positions
- can be placed directly onto the issue flatplan if desired
A print ad can be easily turned into an ad series, by picking
from a list the dates on which the ad should appear - but with the flexibility
to vary the price, billing date, or other features for any particular
or multiple occurrences.
Inserts are also booked into a particular issue, and immediately
inform you of any other inserts booked into that issue. Special features
for web ads Internet ads are booked for a range of dates rather than for
an issue, and can be charged monthly or by impression. Impression data
can be imported once the ad is being run and automatically adjusts the
billed amounts as required.
