Multi Server
Backs up the server the software is running on and an unlimited number of additional servers, desktops and laptops over the network.
Runs on Windows 2000 Server, Windows 2000 Advanced Server, Windows Server 2003, Windows NT 4.0 Server and Microsoft Small Business Server 2000/2003.
Network clients can be any of the above and/or Windows XP, 2000 Professional, 95/98/ME, NT 4.0 Workstation, Mac OS X Server, Mac OS X, Mac OS, Red Hat Linux, SUSE LINUX and Solaris.
Backup media supported include tape drives, autoloaders, libraries, hard drives, NAS devices and CD/DVD drives
Single Server
Licensed to backup one server only, otherwise the features are the same as Multi Server, including backing up unlimited desktop and notebook network clients.
An additional server license can be purchased to backup a second server. Multi Server is more cost effective if 3 or more servers are to be backed up.
Small Business Server – Premium Edition
Only runs on Microsoft Small Business Server 2000/2003 and includes Exchange Server Agent, Disaster Recovery and SQL Server Agent Add-Ons
The remaining features are the same as for Multi/Single Server, including protecting unlimited desktop and notebook network clients. Additional server licenses can be purchased to backup additional servers.
Small Business Server – Standard Edition
As per the Premium Edition, without the SQL Server Agent Add-Ons
Disk-to-Disk
Protects a single server by backing up to hard disk, CD or DVD only.
The other features are as per Single Server, including the option to purchase additional licenses to backup up extra servers.
